Jets owner Woody Johnson is keeping his options open. It was reported yesterday that he was exploring his options in a possible Darrelle Revis trade.

Of course, today, there are reports that head coach Rex Ryan does not want to trade Revis.

That’s not a shocker.

Ryan has raved about his cornerback ever since he joined the team a few years ago.

As the head coach, Ryan has put together some impressive defenses, mainly because he has a shutdown cornerback in Revis. This season, when Revis went down early in the season, the coach did a good job of coaching up the secondary. Not all was lost.

But still, can Ryan keep it up without his Pro Bowl cornerback?

He may have to. It’s no secret that Revis drives a hard bargain when it comes to his money, and the Jets may not play ball.

A couple of teams have already shown interest on Revis ever since the news broke about a possible trade.
