Syracuse To Retire Carmelo Anthony’s Jersey

Syracuse University is set to retire Carmelo Anthony’s jersey at a home game in February, according to ESPNNewYork.com. Melo played for the Orange during the 2002-03 season, leading them to their first NCAA Tournament Championship. The Knicks’ star has stayed connected with the Syracuse basketball program since playing there around a decade ago, where he averaged 22.2 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.
