According to a report by ESPNNewYork.com, Knicks’ veteran Rasheed Wallace could be out for the majority of the season, if not all of it.
As the uncertainty surrounding Rasheed Wallace‘s left foot injury lingers, members of the New York Knicks organization fear Wallace will be out for an extended period, possibly for the entire season, two league sources told ESPNNewYork.com.
Rumors earlier in the month suggested New York would sign free agent Kenyon Martin, which now looks like a realistic possibility. This would be a smart move by the Knicks and not much of a risk, as they could sign him to a 10-day contract and see if things pan out.
UPDATE: Marc Berman of the New York Post @NYPost_Berman: Rasheed said he’s been a couple of years, he’s not letting a “little sore foot” derail his comeback.
