Yanks take 3 of 4 from BoSox at Fenway

The standings on the wall of the Green Monster at Fenway Park read “NEW YORK” in first place in the AL East and that is just how this Yankees team is playing. The Yankees’ bats took out the BoSox again last night at Fenway 7-3 to give the Yankees the series win over the dreaded Red Sox. Andruw Jones lead the power charge for the Bombers with his 4th home run in the past 3 days at Fenway and Ivan Nova struck out 10 Red Sox in he victory.

One surprising note to my eyes from yesterday’s game was the fact that Derek Jeter made his second error in two days on a dropped pop-up and misplayed a ground ball but that was ruled a hit. For Yankee fans though you should not be concerned, Jeter will be back to his original form soon.

Vicente Padilla made more comments to the press about Mark Teixeira yesterday saying that Teixeira has a problem with Latino players, apparently threatened to hit Padilla with a bat and “should be playing a woman’s sport”. Padilla and Teixeira who were former teammates with the Rangers have had problems with each other after Padilla has thrown at Teixeira on multiple occasions in the past few years. Teixeira called the comments “crazy”.
